How is a drawing produced? Is the artist the conduit for producing the drawing or is the artist a part of the drawing? I am both a tool for drawing and a surface for drawing on. These works blur the line between artist and work and between drawing and other methods of making art. Movement and gesture are drawing. The residue left behind, permanently or temporarily, is only one part of drawing.
