What is a drawing and how is it made? These questions underpin the development of my work. Time, movement, and experience are all important themes but the nature of drawing is a constant concern. A finished work is only a trace of a process. The way a drawing is produced, if it even exists in physical form, is just as important as the outcome, if there even is a permanent outcome.
